Ski school Alpinsport at Vogel ski resort is a member of SZS (Ski Association of Slovenia). All ski & snowboard instructors are qualified as instructors grade I, II or III. Besides that they all have to attend refreshment courses annually.

GROUP COURSES
- BEGINNERS COURSE ( I don't have any skiing experience at all or I was skiing once for a day but didn't feel confident) - INTERMEDIATE COURSE (I can stop and turn, I'm ok with green runs, blue runs are just ok, red runs to difficult. I can use chairlifts and draglifts without major problems) - ADVANCED COURSE (I can ski anywhere but I'm not satisfied with my technique. I'm having some problems with carving skiing, off piste skiing) - FREESTYLE - snow park (for advanced skiers and snowboarders) - FREERIDE - off piste (for advanced skiers and snowboarders)

SKI SCHOOL BOOKING
Why to book in advance? Winter season is very unpredictable so if you just appear in the rental shop they might have lots of equipment to rent or it can happen they haven't got anything left. Pretty the same story can repeat with booking a ski instructor. So to avoid the stress it is very recommended to book the equipment and/or ski school in advance.
To book the ski school send us e-mail with following information:
- individual or group lessons - beginner, intermediate or advance skier - first day and number of days in ski school

DISCOUNTS
- 10% discount for ski school + ski hire - 5% extra discount for booking ski school + ski hire at least 10 days before arrival
EXAMPLE OF CARVING LESSON:
Characteristics:
- skis parallel and apart in the same distance as hips - skier is slightly bent in ankles, knees and hips - weight is equal on both skis, knees forward - edging and using the side radius of the ski - rhythm - moving up-down - appropriate speed - shoulders follow the way of skiing - planting a pole is a sign for releasing the pressure from the skis and starting a new turn

- edging at low speed - edging and speeding up - shifting into the new turn - skiing without poles, with hands on knees,...
