CAVING - GOVIC CAVE

About 130 m above Lake Bohinj, in the southern wall of Pršivec and above the mighty mountain stream, one can find the entrance to the Govic Cave. The rounded channel with smooth walls hides a lake 150 m under its top. At heavy rainfall the water in the channel rises and gushes out as a mighty waterfall.

Climb into the Govic Cave is not possible in bad weather!

To go into the cave basic climbing skills are recommended.

- warm clothing

- mountaineering boots

- small backpack (drinks and snacks)
